OnSiteMSI is an ActiveX control that needs to be on a Windows 2000 or XP computer so that the JNET digital certificates will work. If this ActiveX control is not installed, a user will receive a 1b6 error.
Note - You must have administrative permissions in order to install the OnSiteMSI on Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP.
Click the OnSiteMSI Download link.
Click the Save button.
Save to a temporary folder.
Extract files to the temporary folder.
Double-Click OnSiteMSI.msi file.
Follow instructions via the wizard.

Pennsylvania Facial Recognition Workstation 3D Capable Test
The link below links to a file so that potential facial recognition users can test whether their workstation is capable of using the 3D software. Save the "3D-PATest.zip" to a File Folder on your workstation, double click the zip file to expand, and then double click "3D-PATest.exe" which will test the system memory, Video Card, and other things to determine whether the workstation is capable of 3D operations.

JNET Facial Recognition ActiveX Components
If your system passed 3D test the JFRS ActiveX Components link below is an executable file that will download the ActiveX components to your machine. These components are required if you wish to use the "comparison" and "3D comparison" features in the facial recognition software.
The requirements to run this software are:
Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 OS (32-bit or 64-bit supported)
Minimum of 1 GB RAM
Graphics acceleration supporting OpenGL 3.0 and , the following extension function: GL_EXT_framebuffer_object

Please Note: This is an updated version of the 3D software (ActiveX Components). If you downloaded the 3D software prior to Feb 17, 2014 you have to first uninstall the old version before installing the upgrade.

Under "Tools/Internet Options/Security" make sure https://www.jnet.state.pa.us and https://www.inet.jnet.pa.gov are set as trusted sites. Set the security level for trusted sites to low. To eliminate the prompt for the Active X message, you can adjust the security level for trusted sites. Find the Active X controls and plug-ins section and switch "Prompt" to "Enable".
